DRUKAIR
Drukair, also known as Royal Bhutan Airlines, is the national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Bhutan. Headquartered in the town of Paro, the airline was established in 1981 and operates from its main hub at Paro Airport.
Due to the challenging mountainous terrain of Bhutan and the unique location of Paro Airport, Drukair pilots are specially trained for delicate takeoffs and landings. Drukair provides scheduled flights connecting Bhutan to several destinations in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Singapore, and Thailand, among others.
As the country’s primary airline, Drukair plays a crucial role in connecting Bhutan with the outside world and promoting tourism within the nation.
