AIRLINK
An independent regional airline based in South Africa, Airlink has a convenient and comprehensive route network linking top leisure and business destinations across Southern Africa, from the Kruger National Park in South Africa, to Mozambique, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
In 2021, according to online sources, Airlink became the second-largest carrier within Africa by number of flights, and the third largest by number of seats. Although the airline had a long-standing commercial relationship with South Africa’s flag carrier, South African Airways, it is entirely independent. Airlink has also grown its business and other interline and commercial partnerships with major global carriers such as Air France, KLM, British Airways, Lufthansa, United Airlines and Emirates.
Travel agents can book getaways in places like Nosy Be, Pemba, Livingston or Victoria Falls. Incredible animal encounters await in Maun, Skukuza and Hoedspruit. There are even more adventure itineraries and river rafting trips along the Orange River across the Namibian border if you fly into Upington. Access the Eastern Cape’s rural but spectacular Wild Coast, starting from Mthatha.
Airlink has also introduced an Airlink voucher offer, “an inspiring gift idea for any occasion”. Choose from Dream Travel Vouchers, Breakaway Vouchers, or Appreciation Voucher “and help friends, family, co-workers and/or employees to realise a bucket-list adventure or to say a special ‘thank you’,” the carrier said. The process is quick and it’s an affordable, and it’s an inspiring gift idea. Confirmation is done by e-mail and vouchers are redeemable on flyairlink.com. Ts and Cs apply.
